We are currently seeking a Retail Merchandiser who will report to the Head of Retail Merchandising as part of our dynamic team in Milan.
Your opportunity
Reporting to the Head of Retail Merchandising, the Retail Merchandiser will collaborate with the Retail Team in planning buying strategies for the European market. The role requires strong knowledge of the market and different store locations in which we operate, in order to support buying decisions and partner with store teams to drive business performance.
The Retail Merchandiser will be involved in all buying processes across categories, tailoring the assortment for the EU market and identifying opportunities to maximize retail sales.
How you will contribute
· Partner with DOS and Outlet stores to ensure efficient buys and appropriate stock levels to maximize sales potential
· Develop buying strategies, ensuring commercial trends are reflected in the product selection while maintaining a clear and consistent brand image
· Build a strong product assortment to maintain a competitive edge and meet market demand
· Collaborate in the retail buying process across all categories and seasons for the European market
· Identify opportunities to maximize sales and improve product performance
· Provide continuous buying feedback to store managers and sales teams
· Work closely with the Merchandising team to address product needs, concerns, and opportunities
· Analyze and report on product and collection performance based on store sales and local market trends
· Monitor sales results and provide data-driven recommendations for both DOS and Outlet stores
· Review sales performance on an ongoing basis and support key business decisions
· Manage purchases and reorders strategically, aligning fashion trends with customer buying behavior
Who you are
· 3–5 years of experience in a Buying or Retail Merchandising department (preferably in Men’s RTW)
· Passionate about the fashion industry, with strong awareness of fashion trends and market dynamics
· Strong analytical, planning, and reporting skills, with the ability to monitor business performance and interpret data
· Knowledgeable about markets, competitors, and industry trends
· Advanced Microsoft Office skills (particularly Excel); familiarity with systems used for sales monitoring, data entry, and stock transfers
· Excellent written and spoken Italian and English
