A rapidly growing, well-funded deep-tech company at the forefront of quantum computing and artificial intelligence are seeking a highly motivated Solution Architect/Presales Engineer to join the team.
The OpportunityThis role is the vital bridge between deep-tech engineering and enterprise-scale deployment. It offers the chance to design AI and LLM architectures for major Italian and international organisations across finance, energy, and manufacturing.
The Role & ResponsibilitiesThe Solutions Architect acts as the technical authority during the sales cycle, ensuring that complex business challenges are met with robust, scalable AI architectures.
Solution Design: Translate intricate business requirements into high-level architectures, covering AI models, data pipelines, and deployment strategies.
Technical Advisory: Lead discovery sessions and workshops with C-suite and technical stakeholders to assess data maturity and infrastructure readiness.
Pre-Sales Excellence: Deliver high-impact technical demonstrations and manage complex RFP responses for enterprise-level opportunities.
Cross-Functional Alignment: Partner with internal Data Scientists, DevOps, and Product teams to ensure the proposed solutions are both innovative and implementable.
Market Intelligence: Maintain a deep understanding of evolving trends in LLMs, Edge Computing, and Cloud infrastructure to guide product direction.
Required Experience & QualificationsThe ideal candidate combines a strong academic background with the "soft skills" required to influence stakeholders in a fast-paced commercial environment.
Experience: 2+ years of proven success in a Pre-Sales, Solutions Architecture, or Technical Consulting role, specifically delivering AI projects at scale.
Technical Depth: A solid grasp of AI/ML concepts, including Supervised/Unsupervised Learning, LLMs, NLP, and the full Model Lifecycle (MLOps).
Communication: Exceptional presentation skills; able to articulate complex technical value to non-technical business leaders.
Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related quantitative field.
Languages: Native-level/Proficient Italian and fluent English are required.
Mobility: Flexibility to travel for client meetings and industry conferences as required.
