We are currently scaling our business leveraging our technology, our team and our international culture. WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
We are looking for a new Junior Financial Controller to join our financial team.
Junior Financial Controller offers assistance to the financial department in taking sound decisions using detailed analysis from data gathered in the firm.
We are looking for a person that will be responsible for helping the implementation of the controlling process of the company by overseeing the accounting and performing directly the reporting, budgeting and forecasting of the company.
**Location**:
We're in Florence -Italy, but we work partially remotely.
Tasks
- Perform the preparation of periodic financial reports for the Board of Directors/Stakeholders of the company;
- Manage and coordinate the major financial KPIs (revenue, gross profit, expense, and profit and cash), and also advise on cost reducing techniques;
- Monitor variances, track receivables, and follow up on discrepancies;
- Analyze financial performance and develop forecast models;
- Perform budget and cost analysis, reviewing and advisory of financial status;
- Perform data entry, verification, and back-up and maintain financial database;
**Requirements**:
- Minimum of 1/2 years experience as a junior financial analyst, financial analyst, or similar role
- Bachelor's degree in business, finance, accounting, or economics, or any finance related degree
- Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
- Data analytics and good IT skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks, multitask, and work in a fast-paced environment
- Good knowledge of laws, government regulations, and legislation that affect the financial data
