Alectris is an international service provider for renewable assets, mainly focusing on the European market. With offices in Thessaloniki, Athens, Milan, and South Italy, we manage activities across Europe and beyond. Our core focus is on operations and maintenance of renewable assets, complemented by engineering services and EPC projects, primarily for photovoltaic plants and also for wind farms on a smaller scale.

Job Description
The Business Development Manager will identify, prospect, and sell our products and services to clients in Italy. He will contribute to preparing and executing marketing and sales strategies in collaboration with the CEO and team.
He will work closely with the O&M and Projects divisions, as well as the rest of the Business Development team, to participate in tenders, prepare offers, nurture leads from web inquiries and events, and develop client relationships.
Occasional attendance at trade shows and events across Europe will be required to promote our offerings.
Responsibilities
* Develop growth strategies focusing on financial gain and customer satisfaction.
* Research new markets and customer needs.
* Negotiate sales contracts with clients.
* Proactively prospect via cold calling and social selling.
* Respond to web-generated leads, nurturing them to contract signing.
* Maintain relationships for cross-selling and gather client feedback.
* Conduct market analysis and monitor competitors.
* Keep records of sales activities using the company’s CRM.
* Prepare responses to RFIs, RFPs, and tenders.
* Engage in customer interactions including calls, meetings, needs analysis, proposals, and negotiations.
* Manage contracts, invoices, and orders.
* Collaborate with marketing on campaigns and industry materials.
* Participate in trade shows and conferences.
* Report regularly to the CEO.
Qualifications
* Excellent industry knowledge and English proficiency.
* Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
* 3-4 years of relevant industry business development experience.
* Extensive experience in solar and renewables markets.
* Understanding of sales and marketing principles; training in sales/marketing is a plus.
* Self-motivated with a structured approach to research and outreach.
* Experience with CRM systems is advantageous.
* Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
* High integrity and excellent time management skills.
* Ability to set and achieve goals individually and in teams.
* Willingness to travel domestically for trade shows and client meetings.
