About the Role
We are seeking a Senior Sales Manager to lead strategic enterprise sales initiatives and strengthen our relationships with key accounts in Italy. This is an opportunity to shape the commercial success of a global IT leader while driving value for major clients through cutting‐edge technology.
As a Key Account Manager, you will be responsible for developing and expanding relationships with enterprise clients while driving new business across the Italian market. You'll take a consultative approach—partnering closely with senior stakeholders to understand their strategic goals and deliver tailored IT and XaaS solutions.
Your work will have both strategic and hands‐on dimensions: defining sales approaches, managing complex deals, and ensuring customer success across the full lifecycle. You'll collaborate with cross‐functional teams to deliver value‐driven, innovative technology solutions.
Key Responsibilities
* Maintain and grow relationships with existing clients while actively identifying and acquiring new business opportunities.
* Own and grow enterprise accounts, building long‐term strategic partnerships.
* Engage with C-level executives and IT decision‐makers through consultative and solution‐based selling.
* Identify, qualify, and close new business opportunities within existing and new enterprise clients.
* Develop and execute sales strategies aligned with company growth goals and regional priorities.
* Lead complex contract negotiations, pricing discussions, and high‐value deal closures.
* Collaborate with internal teams—including pre‐sales, solution architects, service delivery, and marketing—to design and deliver optimal client solutions.
* Monitor market trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies to inform strategy.
* Leverage your professional network to accelerate pipeline growth and drive client acquisition.
* Maintain accurate forecasting, pipeline management, and account planning.
What You Bring
* 8+ years of experience in enterprise sales within IT services, managed services, cloud, or cybersecurity.
* Proven track record of managing large enterprise accounts and consistently exceeding revenue targets.
* Strong ability to engage and influence C‐level executives and technical stakeholders.
* Excellent negotiation, contract management, and deal‐closing skills.
* Deep understanding of the Italian enterprise IT market.
* A hunter mindset combined with strategic account management skills.
* Established network within the Italian or international enterprise sector; connections in the financial industry are a strong plus.
* Experience selling to financial institutions or regulated industries is highly valued.
* Native Italian, fluent in English.
* Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, IT, or a related field is a strong advantage.
