The restaurant is seeking passionate, enthusiastic, dynamic, and proactive aspiring chefs worldwide who are eager to gain a professional and cultural experience in the United States.
Responsibilities
* Perform food preparation, cooking, and cleaning tasks to ensure kitchen efficiency and quality.
* Follow the prep list provided by the Executive Chef or Sous Chef.
* Prepare food items daily in designated outlets and other kitchen areas.
* Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of dishes and operate dishwashing equipment.
* Assist kitchen staff in preparing menu items to ensure high performance and guest satisfaction.
Estimated Monthly Budget
* Projected income: $2,400 (Hourly wage: $15)
* Housing costs: $600/month
* Meals provided during working hours
J1 Visa Program
This traineeship is part of a J1 visa program designed for young professionals or recent graduates to develop their careers through cultural exchange.
The total application fee is $1,870, broken down as follows:
* $420 due upon signing the contract (non-refundable)
* $1,450 due upon visa approval (including $650 for mandatory health insurance)
Note: The first month’s housing must be paid in advance. Airfare costs are not covered and vary by departure city.
