Role Overview We are looking for a results-driven Business Development Manager to expand our Energy Storage Solutions (ESS) business in Italy.
This is a hunter-style role focused on developing new customers, building strategic partnerships, and driving sales growth within the renewable energy market.
Key Responsibilities - Develop and convert business opportunities in the ESS, solar PV, and inverter sectors.
- Build relationships with EPCs, project developers, utilities, and distributors.
- Provide pre-sales technical support and align solutions with customer requirements.
- Manage the full sales cycle from lead generation to contract closure.
- Track market trends, competitor activity, and local regulations.
- Collaborate with global engineering and marketing teams to support local business growth.
Candidate Profile Requirements: - Australian local/native professional with full working rights.
- 5+ years of sales or business development experience in Renewable Energy (ESS, Solar PV, or Inverters).
- Strong understanding of energy storage systems, power electronics, or grid-scale applications.
- Candidates with pre-sales technical support experience transitioning into BD are welcome.
- Self-driven "hunter" mindset with strong communication and negotiation skills.
Work Environment - Remote/home-based anywhere in Italy.
- Regular domestic travel for customer visits and industry events.
