I will safeguard these pillars and ensure full knowledge and active participation of all our brand initiatives. /p h3Duties Responsibilities /h3 ul liReview bookings and plan for the smooth department operation during shift. /li liEnsure FB area is checked prior opening to guests and ensure all area is clean, properly equipped and in a high standard of maintenance. /li liHandle guest feedbacks, inquiries, and comments. /li liAssist in scheduling, training and providing feedback to FB Host. /li liSupervise the FB Host’s team. /li liWork with an empathetic attitude. /li liEnsure the prompt and efficient service required by standards. /li liEnsure all mis‑en‑place for restaurant service is correctly prepared prior to opening hour of service. /li liEnsure efficient beverage operation, particularly the wine service, in our retail and restaurant (or any other FB venues) to provide exceptional products and services within brand operating standards. /li liEnsure that all set policies, procedures, best practices are in place and rigorously enforced. /li liSupport the Restaurant and Bar manager and focus on the rejuvenation of the beverage experience. The wine lists and retail will be constantly assessed to remain relevant and in keeping with Six Senses wellness and sustainability practices. /li liWork in partnership with Guest Services, Reservations, and Front Office to ensure guest’s needs are determined /met. /li liHave a full knowledge of menus and specials of all outlets and a good knowledge of the wine list and be able to recommend wine in absence of sommelier. I will have a thorough knowledge of all facilities and services offered by the hotel. /li liPurchasing practices will meet the requirements of the Six Senses sustainability platform, while stocktakes and storage assessment will be undertaken at the required times to ensure all stock is on hand, properly stored and in line with Six Senses standards. /li liInteraction and communications between department/s under my control and other departments within the hotel are clear and effectively maintained to support the smooth running of the hotel. I will perform any additional duties given to me by the Restaurant Bar manager and/or Director of Food Beverage. /li liHave a good knowledge of all outlet menus (food and wine) and FB day to day activities. /li liHave good knowledge of all FB outlets opening hours. /li liKnowledge on menu prices and suggesting upselling when necessary. /li liEnsure all equipment of the department is kept clean and in good working condition. /li liUpkeep Six Senses guidelines and standards of service and operation. My performance benchmarks are maintained and exceeded. /li liStrictly adhere to LQA standards and guest comments. /li /ul h3Qualifications /h3 ul liHigh school diploma or equivalent and at least 2–4 years restaurant experience in a full‑service outlet or similar setting. Hospitality diploma/degree from a recognized hospitality school is preferred. /li liFluent in Italian and English /li liEligible to work in Italy /li liAlcohol awareness certification and/or food service permit or valid health/food handler card as required by local or state government agency. /li /ul pSix Senses Rome is an equal opportunity employer.
