Planate is a small business provider of planning, design, infrastructure management, technical consulting, engineering, and construction management services in support of the US Department of Defense (DOD) and its Service (Army, Air Force, Navy, Marine Corps) missions, along with other US federal agencies, all over the world. /ppWe’re looking for a highly skilled Regional Energy Manager to join our team in Naples, Italy, supporting the operational objectives of Naval Facilities Engineering Systems across Djibouti, Bahrain, Spain, Crete, Romania, and Poland. /ppOccasional travel is required based on the project needs. /ppbKey Responsibilities : /b /pulliImplement a robust energy management program in compliance with U.S. and host nation laws and regulations. /liliSupport NAVFAC energy managers in achieving energy goals and sustainability targets. /liliProvide design review and technical support for energy-related facility maintenance, repair, and construction projects. /liliManage and support energy programs such as EPSP, ESPC, ERCIP, PPA, EVSE, 2912, FRCS, Smart Grid, microgrids, storage, and renewable energy initiatives. /liliConduct facility audits and document Energy Conservation Measures (ECMs). /liliTrack and manage projects using platforms like IEPS and PMM. /liliPromote and sustain energy and water conservation initiatives and awareness programs. /liliAnalyze utility consumption data to identify inefficiencies and recommend cost-saving strategies. /liliPrepare energy audit packages, economic analyses, and support alternative financing projects. /liliEnhance operations and maintenance (OM) efficiency and adopt emerging technologies. /liliVerify data accuracy and optimize the use of natural gas, electricity, solar, geothermal, water, wastewater, wind, and other utilities. /liliPrepare reports and support energy award nominations. /liliPerform additional responsibilities as required. /li /ulpbQualifications to be successful in the role : /b /pulliBachelor degree in engineering or any related field of study /liliMinimum 3 years of experience as an Energy Manager in the Department of Defense (DoD) or similar government facilities, essential /liliStrong understanding of energy resilience, reliability, and efficiency principles. /liliAbility to interpret technical engineering drawings, specifications, and contract documents. /liliExperience in facility energy audits, consumption monitoring, and reporting within budget and schedule. /liliFluent in English (reading, writing, and speaking). /liliProficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Acrobat. /liliPreferred : Familiarity with Navy energy platforms such as IEPs, DUERs, and NSGEMs. /liliPhysically able to work in both indoor and outdoor environments, including active construction sites. /li /ulpbWhy Planate? /b /ppPlanate Management Group is an Affirmative Action and Equal Opportunity Employer.
