Account Manager - North-West Italy

As an Account Manager, you will be the main sales contact for the North-West Italy territory, covering all of Quaker Houghton's product, equipment, and service offerings. Your focus will be on nurturing relationships with existing customers in the metalworking market and driving cross-selling and customer satisfaction initiatives. Responsibilities

1. Develop business growth in the North and West Italian regions by visiting customer sites regularly.
2. Build strong relationships with key contacts to increase satisfaction and cross-selling success.
3. Create customer presentations, proposals, and commercial offers demonstrating Quaker Houghton’s value.
4. Provide technical advice, collaborating with our Product Application team to implement new solutions.
5. Align with the KAM team to maximize business potential and exceed customer expectations.
6. Coordinate with the Fluid Intelligence Solutions team on equipment sales.
7. Work with Customer Service and Technical Service teams to meet customer expectations.
8. Report sales targets, budgets, and forecasts using CRM, Excel, and other tools.
9. Participate in conferences and industry trade shows.
10. Monitor competitors, industry trends, and regulations to inform management and market development.


Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate has at least 3 years of proven sales experience in the metalworking industry, preferably in lubricants, coolants, or similar chemicals. A background in Mechanical, Metallurgical, Chemical, or relevant engineering is highly valued. Fluency in Italian and English is required. The role is field-based in the North-West Italy territory, requiring a dynamic, communicative, and safety-conscious professional who is autonomous, results-driven, analytical, and customer-focused.
