Ph3Job Summary /h3 pChef/Sous Chef/Chef de Partie, Hotel Cervo Hotel Cala di Volpe, Costa Smeralda, Italy. /p h3Responsibilities /h3 ul liPrepare ingredients for cooking, including portioning, chopping, and storing food. /li liWash and peel fresh fruits and vegetables; weigh, measure, and mix ingredients. /li liPrepare and cook food according to recipes, quality, presentation standards, and food preparation checklist. /li liPrepare cold foods. /li liOperate ovens, stoves, grills, microwaves, and fryers. /li liTest foods to determine if they have been cooked sufficiently. /li liMonitor food quality while preparing food. /li liSet up and break down work station. /li liServe food in proper portions onto appropriate receptacles. /li liWash and disinfect kitchen area, tables, tools, knives, and equipment. /li liCheck and ensure the correctness of the temperature of appliances and food. /li liFollow all company and safety and security policies and procedures; report maintenance needs, accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to manager; complete safety training and certifications. /li liEnsure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional; maintain confidentiality of proprietary information; protect company assets. /li liSpeak with others using clear and professional language; develop and maintain positive working relationships; support team to reach common goals; listen and respond appropriately to concerns of other employees. /li liEnsure adherence to quality expectations and standards. /li liStand, sit, or walk for an extended period of time or for an entire work shift; reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping; move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing ≤ 25 pounds without assistance. /li liPerform other reasonable job duties as requested by supervisors. /li /ul h3Qualifications /h3 ul liEducation: High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent. /li liRelated work experience: At least 1 year of related work experience. /li liSupervisory experience: None. /li liLicense or certification: None. /li /ul h3Equal Opportunity Statement /h3 pAt Marriott International, we are dedicated to being an equal opportunity employer, welcoming all and providing access to opportunity.
