Job Title: Manager/Deputy Manager/ Asst. Manager - Digital Marketing

(Designation will be based on the candidates’ years and nature of experience and educational qualification)

Location: ITALY

Experience: 6 – 10 years


Job Overview:

Will primarily work as a Brand and Digital marketer for TAFE Tractors in Europe region, and will be responsible for creating, executing, and managing all content and campaigns for the region. You will be instrumental in enhancing brand visibility, driving lead generation, and contributing to the success of our digital marketing objectives. Additionally, you'll oversee the planning and coordination of related events and trade fair in the region.


Work Location:


UK/ Italy / France (REMOTE), but involves travel within Europe for 3-4 days a month, and 10-15 days in the month of November.


Key Responsibilities:

Content & Social Media Marketing:

* Generate engaging content (text, images, videos) that resonates with your target audience and aligns with brand messaging. You may also curate high-quality content from other sources
* Develop & Execute Social Media Strategy, Craft winning plans aligned with brand goals, identifying target audiences and the most relevant platforms
* Foster a thriving online community by responding to comments, messages, and mentions in a timely and professional manner. Encourage conversation and brand loyalty.
* Track brand mentions, analyze audience demographics, and measure campaign performance using social media analytics tools.
* Plan and schedule content across platforms to maintain consistent brand presence and audience engagement. Utilize scheduling tools to streamline this process.
* Ensure consistent use of brand voice and tone in all social media interactions to build a strong and recognizable brand personality.
* Work closely with marketing, design agency, and sales teams to ensure consistent brand messaging across all channels.



Performance Marketing:

* Develop and manage paid social media advertising campaigns to target specific demographics and interests, maximizing reach and engagement
* Interface with the business team to understand business goals, market, and product focus.
* Create and manage Facebook ads, Instagram ads, LinkedIn ads, and Youtube ads through our central digital marketing agency. (Social media advertising)
* Manage the website and ensure top organic search ranking positions, working on keyword research, on-page optimisation, landing page handling, and monitoring.
* Create and manage Google ad campaigns (SEM and display ads). To manage Google Analytics to track and measure all marketing campaigns.
* Regularly review and optimise all advertising campaigns for positive ROAS, lead management, and analysis. Manage paid listings on third-party websites and media partners.
* Develop and oversee email marketing and marketing automation strategies; set up, manage, and optimise email marketing campaigns (EDM newsletters, drip campaigns, loyalty campaigns, etc.).
* Regularly review multi-channel analytics reports (search, social, ad, email, website, blog) and recommend optimisation action plans to sales and marketing teams. Competitor analysis and insights.



Data Privacy, GDPR & Compliance:

* Ensure full compliance with GDPR and regional data protection regulations across all digital marketing activities, including paid media, lead generation, CRM, cookies, and analytics.
* Work closely with legal, IT, and agency partners to implement consent management frameworks (CMPs), cookie policies, and privacy-compliant tracking.
* Oversee compliant usage of first-party, second-party, and third-party data across platforms.
* Ensure lead forms, landing pages, CRM integrations, and marketing automation workflows adhere to data minimization, lawful processing, and consent requirements.
* Manage and audit data flows between ad platforms, publishers, CRM, and analytics tools to mitigate compliance risks.


Programmatic & Media Buying:

* Plan, execute, and optimize programmatic media buying across DSPs (Display, Video, Native, and Connected TV where applicable).
* Collaborate with central and regional media agencies on audience strategy, bidding models, frequency capping, and budget allocation.
* Drive performance through data-led targeting strategies including contextual targeting, interest-based segments, retargeting, and lookalike audiences (privacy-safe).
* Monitor campaign delivery, viewability, brand safety, fraud prevention, and performance KPIs across programmatic channels.


Publisher & Media Partner Management:

* Manage relationships with regional and pan-European publishers, media networks, and automotive portals for lead generation and brand campaigns.
* Negotiate media plans, placements, pricing, and performance benchmarks with publishers.
* Oversee direct publisher buys, sponsored content, native advertising, and lead-generation partnerships.
* Track publisher performance, ensure lead quality, and recommend optimization or reallocation of spends.
* Ensure all publisher integrations comply with GDPR, consent frameworks, and brand safety standards.


Candidate Specifications:


* Previously worked as a Social Media executive / Digital Marketing executive with good knowledge in Content Management, strategy and execution on social, search, and other performance-oriented channels.
* In-platform execution experience setting up campaigns in Facebook ads manager, YouTube Studio, Meta Ads, Google Ads, and Google AdWords.
* Exceptional analytical skills to identify opportunities within complex data and where these can be operationalized.
* Outstanding presentation skills, excellent written and verbal communication skills both in English and German/Italian.
* Skills – social media, Content development, Content strategy, Performance Marketing, Digital Marketing, SEM & SEO, Competitive Analysis, Marketing Automation, Reporting & Mar-Tech
* Hands-on experience with GDPR, data privacy frameworks, consent management platforms (CMPs), and compliant digital tracking.
* Strong understanding of programmatic advertising ecosystems, DSPs, ad exchanges, and publisher networks.
* Experience working with European publishers and media partners, preferably in automotive, manufacturing, or B2B sectors.
* Familiarity with privacy-first measurement approaches, cookieless strategies, and first-party data activation.
* Ability to work with cross-functional teams (legal, IT, agencies) to operationalize compliance without impacting performance.
* High proficiency English both written and spoken


Graduate or Post Graduate (MBA), digital marketing certifications will be an added advantage


The candidate should have 6 – 10 years of experience and strong exposure to social media and digital marketing within a large organization or agency. Prior experience working in a tractor or implements company would be an added advantage. Ideally, the candidate should also have experience working in the European market. They should be well-versed in brand-building concepts, social media strategies, digital marketing, and platform-specific applications to engage audiences and build effective campaigns.
