Flexible Packaging Specialist (Temporary Contract)
We are looking for a Packaging Specialist for our R&D Packaging department focusing mainly on Flexible packaging industrialization. You will support the team on new product development linked to flexible packaging material as well as the validation of new suppliers for existing materials.
Responsibilities
* Implement new suppliers in alignment with existing technical specifications.
* Organize and coordinate product trials throughout all phases, from material ordering to post-trial evaluation.
* Validate packaging solutions for new projects and product developments.
* Support the team in ensuring consistent performance of the current product line as a business priority.
* Apply a structured methodological approach to identify root causes of trial failures and ensure timely resolution in line with project schedules.
Qualifications
* Ideally a degree in Material sciences and engineering or mechanical engineering, alternatively, Chemistry or Design
* Specialised courses in packaging design, eco design, circularity index applied to packaging will be considered a plus
* Previous exerience in packaging industrialization or quality
* Good level of English
The position is based in Settimo Torinese.
