How the 2N interview works
* Introductory interview with the Recruiter
If your profile fits the initial assessment, the Recruiter of the respective position will contact you for an initial interview. This will take 20-40 minutes, depending on the type of position and your questions. There will also be an introduction to the position, who we are looking for and an introduction to 2N itself. This interview takes place over the phone or as a Teams call. The date will be arranged with you by the Recruiter via phone call or email, with a possible link to the Booking app where you can choose a suitable date yourself.
- Interview with the Manager who is recruiting for the position
After evaluating your profile and the information from the initial interview, we will inform you whether you are advancing to the next round, or if it didn't work out this time. We will inform you by email or call you. If you are successful in advancing to the next round, a First Interview with the Hiring Manager will follow.
This interview will take about 60 minutes and you will find a date together with the Recruiter. During the interview we will discuss whether it will be online (via the Teams app with cameras on) or in person at 2N. The recruiter will then send you a calendar invite, either with a link to Teams or with an address and instructions on how to get there.
- Steps between the next, final round
We'll again evaluate the previous rounds and let you know how you did and whether you're moving on to the final round. Before this round takes place, and if you are selected for the final round, the following will be the following depending on the type of position:
* we will ask you to complete a test called psychometrics, which we do as standard for all positions that work more closely with other people, whether they are senior staff or managerial and team positions;
* we will let you know if you need to do any preparation for the final round and if you should do a small assignment that you will bring with you, which we will then discuss;
* we will discuss the progress of the last final round with the need for any references if we judge it to have been successfully completed.
* A day on the test, to experience 2N
You have successfully passed this stage, which we consider to be the most important in the entire selection process. The exam day doesn't take all day, we usually get through it in 2 to 4 hours. How do you imagine such a time at 2N?
* You meet your future manager again.
* You'll get to know the team you'll be working in and meet some of your closest colleagues.
* You'll see your workplace and other 2N facilities.
* You'll have further conversations, typically with your manager's supervisor and other colleagues you'll meet in the future.
* You'll discuss your approach to the task at hand, or be asked to give a demonstration on site at your future workplace.
* Depending on the time, you will have coffee or even lunch with your future colleagues.
The aim of this meeting is to get a mutual impression of how you will fit into the team and to understand your future job even better and more concretely. There should be as few surprises as possible at the end of the Exam Day after the eventual onboarding. Therefore, a lot of space will be given for your questions.
- Final evaluation, rejection or offer
We're going to the finals. We will check the references provided and communicate our decision. We will try to contact you by phone, just in case we are unable to do so, we will send you a message by email.
If we assess that we want you to complete our team, we will discuss with you our future employment offer, its parameters from financial, to contract type, to start date. We will agree on a date by which you will let us know, and if you also choose us, we have the selection process closed and the onboarding phase will begin. You can read more about that here.
