Season 2026: At Russotti Gestioni Hotels Spa we are seeking a professional Assistant Housekeeping Manager to join our Delta Hotels Marriott Giardini Naxos team.
The Assistant Housekeeping Manager assists the first Housekeeping Manager in the smooth and efficient running of the Housekeeping department, ensuring that all the policies and procedures outlines in the Departmental Operations Manual are strictly adhered to.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Ensures Housekeeping Attendants deliver the brand promises and provide exceptional guest service at all times.
Handles all guest and internal customer complaints and inquiries in a courteous and efficient manner, following through to make sure problems are resolved satisfactorily
Conducts quality checks on works done by Housekeeping Room Attendants.
Ensures clean and complete arrival and occupied rooms in a timely manner.
Reports to Housekeeping Manager adverse guest comments.
Reports to Housekeeping Manager lost and damaged items.
Reports and follow-up on repair and maintenance work.
Conducts checks on Public Areas, F&B outlets, offices and toilets
Ensures scheduled periodic works are carried out.
Ensures the punctuality and appearance of all Housekeeping Room Attendants, making sure that they wear the correct uniform and maintain a high standard of personal appearance and hygiene, according to the hotel and department’s grooming standards
When manager is not present, participate to morning meetings of the Hotel and, consequently, report to Housekeeping Manager the issues covered. Experience, Skills & Knowledge
Work experience as a Housekeeping Supervisor or similar role
Hands-on experience with cleaning and maintenance tasks for large organizations
Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends
Good communication skills, both written and verbal English
