Job Purpose
Internal co‑owner of accounts with FSE / IKAM for the largest accounts delivering customer satisfaction and developing new sales opportunities. Key account management for a defined set of mid‑sized partners across the TD SYNNEX portfolio; incentivised based on total portfolio.
Responsibilities
- Maximizes call potential and outcomes using a number of different sources to gain information on customer
- Generate new business opportunities by planning outbound calls to customers
- Have a conversation with customer around a solution/product area
- Offer recommendations to enhance the value proposition by collecting information from the customer to understand the business requirements
- Achieve monthly/quarterly revenue and margin targets for the aligned customer/segment
- Build excellent customer relationships through proactive engagement
- Develop partner relationship (incl. account planning, cross‑selling, etc.)
- Provide, sell and negotiate product information, pricing, special offers and promotions
- Attainment of key performance indicators (KPIs) such as daily talk time and outbound calls
- Sell the benefits of using TD SYNNEX and the company value proposition
- Identify project opportunities and engage with BDM/ISS if specific product/vendor knowledge is required
- Engage in active inside selling and intelligent project fishing; manage customer backorder along specialist knowledge
- Generate and own a pipeline of deals in TD SYNNEX’s CRM system, which is regularly reviewed and updated and ensure active closure of opportunities
- Provide accurate and timely quotations to customers
- Ensure TD SYNNEX maintains service level agreements with customers
- Manage customer backorder expectations and reporting
- Proactively develop relationships with key internal and external contacts
- Ensure CRM system is well maintained and provides correct customer information
Knowledge, Skills and Experience
- 1‑2 years of experience in sales or equivalent educational background
- Numerate with good attention to detail
- Excellent telephone manner
- Priority management and planning skills
- Strive to achieve set targets
- Understands sales process
- Effective communication skills
- Good relationship building
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook
- Ideal candidates will have previous experience of IT systems for quotation, order entry, CRM
- IT industry knowledge would be desirable but not essential
