Job description
The sought-after figure will be responsible for all-round management of customer relations and the related brands/offices of the indicated sales channel, for the Area North-West Italy + coordinating the activity of the other 2 National Area Managers (respectively for the Area North-East and Centre-South).
Reporting directly to the Sales Director, he completes the structuring of the in-line sales department with the Online Key Account manager, manages and coordinates the activities of two above mentioned area managers (North-East and Central-South area), directly follows the North-West area by visiting the points of sale and customers directly under its jurisdiction and progressively deals with the commercial and sales activity with the offices and Buyers of the client brands on the national territory. It solicits and coordinates the activity of the network of external agencies (multi-brand and present in each region). It independently manages the back-office activity that this type of customer requires. It assists the work of the internal Marketing Office, to carry out the planned activities locally and the After Sales Office in cases of need and customer requests. Analysis of sales data by channel/customer/point of sale, in accordance with the forecasted annual budget results, is needed.
Profile of the candidate sought
For the purposes of the selection, candidates with the following requirements will be evaluated:
* Indicative age required: 30/40 years; personal residence: Italy, preferably Area North-West
* Degree or Degree+Master MBA (preferential but not essential requirements)
* Solid experience gained in sales and management of sales networks, for at least 5 years, possibly in the DYI/"Fai da te" and GardenCenters/Ferramentas channel (further preferable, if the experience has developed in the Gardening sector)
* Excellent relational skills, ability to work in teams with strong team spirit and collaborative attitude, result orientation, problem solving attitude, availability and personal pro-activity.
* Thorough knowledge of the MS Office package
* Language skills: must-to-have, at least GOOD knowledge of the English language
* Willingness to travel nationwide: approx. 20-30% of time in-office/remaining outside + home office.
