Job Description:
The position is responsible for product planning and execution throughout the product lifecycle, including:
* Defining the product roadmap by researching and analyzing market conditions, identifying key competitors and trends
* Gathering and prioritizing product and customer requirements
* Articulating key market requirements, identifying opportunities for product innovation and enhancements
* Working closely with engineering, sales, and marketing to meet development targets and customer satisfaction goals
* Planning and executing strategic initiatives to develop the business by leveraging current and future technologies, ensuring alignment with the company's overall strategy and goals
Key accountabilities:
* Define the product strategy and roadmap
* Deliver market and product requirements
* Develop and implement significant initiatives impacting revenue
* Collaborate with customers, partners, and third parties on partnerships and licensing opportunities
* Manage beta and discovery programs for new products and samples, overseeing development activities
* Support sales and marketing with product knowledge and technical expertise
* Enhance cross-functional collaboration and trust among teams
* Liaise with advertising and PR to promote the product
Position Requirements:
* Bachelor’s degree in engineering; MBA is a plus
* Experience as Product Manager/Business Development in Food & Beverage industry (both customer and supplier sides)
* Success in launching components/devices on the market
* Knowledge of food & beverage industry standards
* Project management skills; PMP certification is a plus
* Effective communication skills for stakeholder interaction
* Strong teamwork skills with the ability to influence without authority
* Problem-solving and strategic thinking skills, with data analysis capabilities
* Excellent planning and organizational skills, adaptable to change
* Willingness to travel at least 50%
