We're a lean, ambitious team of 75 specialists operating across the Netherlands, UK, Germany, and Italy. We're looking for someone with fire in their belly to drive our marine business in Italy. /ppThis isn't a corporate sales role where you fill in CRM fields and wait for leads. This is entrepreneurial, high-impact work: you'll hunt for new business, maintain strategic accounts, and directly influence how fast we grow in the Italian market. /ppbr/ppstrongWhat You'll Actually Do: /strong /ppstrongHunt and close new business /strong across the Italian marine sector: cruise ships, commercial vessels, naval applications, offshore support vessels. We have traction; you'll expand it. /ppstrongOwn strategic accounts /strong from first conversation through contract signature and beyond. You're the face of TECS in Italy. /ppstrongTravel frequently /strong to shipyards and customer sites across Italy, and occasionally internationally. Your office is wherever the customer needs you. /ppstrongWork closely with our Italian team /strong: you'll work with our Sales Team Lead (who's currently doing most of the sales and knows this market inside-out), collaborate with two Customer Service Representatives who'll support you administratively, and partner with our growing local engineering team of who can back you up technically. /ppstrongShape how we work /strong. Let's test it. /ppbr/ppstrongWhat You Bring: /strong /ppstrongExisting relationships in the Italian marine industry /strong. This is huge. You know the shipyards, the operators, the decision-makers. And you know how to get to them quickly. /ppstrongTechnical fluency /strong. You understand (or can quickly learn) control systems for engines, generators, power management systems and ship automation. At least well enough to have credible conversations with chief engineers and technical managers. /ppstrongBilingual Italian/English /strong. You'll work across our international organization daily. Both languages need to be genuinely strong. /ppstrongSales fundamentals /strong. You've done technical sales before, where cold selling would be an advantage. You know how to qualify opportunities, prepare proposals, negotiate commercial terms, and close deals without constant handholding. For this you will need at least 3 years of experience in technical sales. /ppstrong“Can do mentality” /strong. You're comfortable with autonomy, ambiguity, and the responsibility that comes with direct impact.
