We are seeking an experienced Account Manager to join our Distressed Assets Solutions (DAS) team. This role offers a unique opportunity to work on high-stakes restructuring cases, complex financial negotiations, and value-creation opportunities across a diverse portfolio of sensitive assets.
As a DAS Account Manager, you will take care of the analysis, restructuring, and resolution of distressed credit situations while identifying advisory and investment opportunities. You will work directly with debtors, banking syndicates, and judicial authorities to implement sophisticated financial solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Financial & Strategic Analysis
* Conduct comprehensive financial analysis including sector fundamentals, debt structure, profitability metrics, and corporate governance assessment
* Perform advanced valuations using DCF, comparable multiples, and bespoke financial models
* Assess sustainable debt levels and optimal capital structure for restructuring scenarios
Legal & Contractual Expertise
* Analyze complex financing agreements and propose contractual modifications
* Define legal restructuring objectives and navigate evolving regulatory frameworks
* Calculate and declare claims across various product types, including structured instruments
Transaction Execution
* Design actionable restructuring plans balancing stakeholder constraints and financial objectives
* Coordinate multi-party negotiations with debtors, creditors, and legal authorities
* Oversee documentary execution and ensure compliance with agreed terms
* Present cases to internal committees (Sensitive Assets, CRC/CRIG)
Business Development & Relationship Management
* Identify profitable advisory mandates and investment opportunities
* Maintain relationships with banking correspondents, brokers, and analysts
* Serve as Coverage Officer (PCO/2CO/2AM) and Worldwide Relationship Manager (WRM) on assigned cases
Required Qualifications
Experience & Technical Skills
* Minimum 6/8 years of relevant experience in restructuring, special situations, credit analysis, or investment banking
* Advanced financial modeling and valuation expertise (DCF, LBO, credit models)
* Strong understanding of xdwybme investment banking products: corporate finance, structured financing, export finance, and capital markets
* Proven track record in due diligence and complex financial analysis
