Your opportunity:
Act in a key role for maintaining the integrity of stock held in the Italian warehouses. Establish and develop the team, processes, and procedures for control of Kering’s physical warehouse inventory. Function as the reference point for brand, finance, operations, and third-party logistics provider (3PL) on all inventory control matters. Collaborate with the logistic provider to define and implement standard operating procedures, SLAs, and KPIs, monitoring and reporting systems. Ensure that inventory adheres to the expected targets and applies structured problem-solving mechanisms in case of important deviations or particular issues, coordinating the appropriate corrective actions and strongly supporting the continuous improvement of processes.
How you will contribute:
1. Analyze, recommend, and execute enhancements to inventory stocking strategies, fulfillment process flows, and optimization opportunities.
2. Responsible for leading teams to conduct audits on all activities inbound, putaway, and storage activities.
3. Assign work and monitor productivity to ensure high standards of quality, accuracy, housekeeping, and safety.
4. Maintain a working knowledge of all inventory control processes and procedures. Create and update documentation on all inventory control SOP’s.
5. Support the logistics provider in the definition, implementation, and ongoing execution of cycle counting procedures in the warehouses.
6. In partnership with the various stakeholders, reconcile all inventory variances, transactions, and systemic inventory to the physical counts.
7. Manage the team of inventory controllers to secure the established business objectives.
8. Advise the 3PL on slotting and segmentation methodology and improvements within the warehouse.
9. Define and maintain storage guidelines for a variety of product categories in a warehouse environment.
10. Warehouse costs tracking.
11. Recording and monitoring of activity-based rates and related volumes.
12. Request quotation/assess and track special/out of standard activities and related costs.
Who you are:
* Graduate in Logistics, Business Management, Operations, or Engineering studies.
* Prior experience managing and executing inventory control in a warehouse environment.
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders at all levels of seniority.
* Results-numbers driven with an analytical spirit.
* Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
* Proactive and able to manage activities autonomously.
* Ability to work in teams.
* Negotiation skills.
* Expert in using all Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel and Access, and Business Intelligence tools.
* Knowledge of ERP systems.
* Fluent in Italian and English, both written and spoken.
