Reporting directly to the E-Commerce Senior Buyer and Merchandiser' the E-Commerce Merchandising Assistant Intern will support the merchandising process for Guess E-Commerce department.
He/she will assist the colleagues in managing the product assortments for Guess website' driving assortment and SKU productivity to achieve the financial goals.
CORE JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Merchandising
- Assist the E-Commerce Buyer and merchandiser to define the best product positioning strategies in PLP based on KPIs (BR' CTR' visits' etc.); and constantly monitor and update of product sorting
- Assist in Category creation and maintenance
- Assist in product categorization in back office system
- Assist in defining product and trend pushes for E-commerce Communications Calendar' both for DEMs and HP
- Management of style activation in the website
- Assist in defining and optimize Filters based on collection composition and Web Marketing feedback
- Creation and maintenance of Ensemble (outfit suggestion)
- Follow up to Customer service enquiries relevant to product information and availability
- Follow up to general enquiries from divisions and suppliers
- Update of books with changes and cancelations
Copywriting
- Management of the product description and translation processes
- Upload of technical and color description files from back office system
Requirements
- Bachelor Degree in Fashion' Marketing' Styling and/or similar field
- Any progressive work experience in the fashion world will be considered a plus
- Passion and attitude in fashion field
- Proficient in English (both written and spoken) and Italian' any additional European language is considered a plus
- Knowledge of MS-Office (in particular Excel)' any additional operational system is a plus
- Highly motivated and committed to the job assigned' with a quick-learning approach
- Very precise' with a meticulous attention to detail
- Must possess the ability to handle multiple tasks/projects with adherence to deadlines
- Operational' flexible' with a strong sense of urgency' problem solving skills
- Working on cross-functional and multi-national teams
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills and innovative thinking
