WSS Expansion Sales Specialist

The Role:
This role involves identifying customer needs for legacy Evoqua ISS products (now WSS Expansion) and offering tailored solutions. Key responsibilities include achieving sales targets through new customer acquisition, promoting products to existing clients, and developing market opportunities focusing on up- and cross-selling. The position requires collaboration with customers, partners, and internal teams, including European stakeholders, to ensure high customer satisfaction.
Principal Responsibilities:
* Manage existing and new prospects.
* Identify market potential, qualify accounts, and prioritize based on change, potential, and segmentation.
* Build and maintain a network with clients and stakeholders.
* Schedule appointments with clients and prospects.
* Identify customer needs and recommend WSS Expansion solutions.
* Prepare and follow up on quotations and tenders.
* Serve as the local contact for commercial issues during project implementation.
* Align product offerings with customer needs, deliver compelling value propositions, and apply suitable sales approaches.
* Manage customer funnel strategies for direct and indirect channels.
* Collect market intelligence on competitors and customer feedback.
* Achieve and exceed sales targets.
* Maintain accurate records in CRM, including opportunities, contracts, and communications.
* Collaborate with third-party contractors when needed to support mutual goals.
Requirements:
* Bachelor's or Master’s degree in a technical or commercial field, or equivalent experience.
* Minimum 5 years in a similar role with comparable products or in the technical sector; industrial experience is a plus.
* Affinity with technical products, especially in wastewater or clean water treatment, is a plus.
* Fluent in Italian and English, spoken and written.
