Serving three primary markets – passenger vehicle, commercial truck, and off‑highway equipment – Dana provides the world's original‑equipment manufacturers and the aftermarket with local product and service support through a network of nearly 100 engineering, manufacturing, and distribution facilities. /p h3bPosition Summary /b /h3 h3bMain Responsibilities /b /h3 ul liManage sales activities with assigned accounts and prospects located in Europe /li liEstabilish selling prices in cooperation with the Sales leadership and in accordance with the internal approval process /li liExplore and identify business opportunities and build good relationship and intimacy at all levels inside the customer /li liGenerate RFQ's, deeply discussing with customer Engineering, prepare the quotation, negotiate price, get the purchase order, discuss and negotiate LTA's /li liWork with the other company's function to achieve the sales targets and customer satisfaction /li liPrepare and revise sales budget, forecast and long term planning, define the achievable area business plan, set the action plan and a mitigation plan when necessary /li /ul h3bJob Position Requirements /b /h3 pEducation: University master degree - Mechanical Engineering or equivalent /p pbProfessional background /b /p pAt least 3 years of experience in Sales with international customers as Tier1 or 2 supplier. /p pPreferred 1-3 years of background in Engineering or Manufacturing or Quality in structured companies supplying Mechanical components to OEMs /p ul liKnowledge of a second language (French or German) /li liExcellent relationship management /li liAction oriented /li liBasics of project management /li liAvailable to travel abroad /li liSense of urgency and business acumen /li /ul h3bConsidered as a plus /b /h3 ul liFluent German /li liExperience or direct knowledge of drivelines / transmissions / axles product development life cycle /li /ul h3bSoft Skills /b /h3 ul liGood team player /li liAble to work under pressure /li liResilient /li liAble to influence the team mates to bring the voice of the customer /li /ul pIf you are not contacted within 60 days after your application, the search should be considered filled.
