And now we’re expanding our presence in Italy — a key market for RAINS. To lead this exciting chapter, we are looking for an experienced and driven Sales Manager to join our team.
The Role
As our new Sales Manager, you will be at the forefront of launching and growing all categories – here including our newest category, footwear and ready-to-wear. You will be responsible for building and expanding a strong distribution and customer base across retail segments, with a focus on ready-to-wear, bags, shoes, and accessories. You will take ownership of sales strategy, drive performance and build long-lasting relationships. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on variety, takes initiative, and enjoys leading with energy and confidence.
Your key responsibilities
* Lead the commercial expansion of RAINS in Italy, focusing on wholesale and retail growth.
* Build and promote strong, long-lasting customer relationships across retail segments.
* Present, promote and contribute to sales activities in Italy, with execution and finalization of orders handled from RAINS HQ in Denmark.
* Achieve growth and meet sales targets.
* Implement strategic sales plans aligned with RAINS’ business goals.
Your primary tasks
* Build awareness for RAINS apparel, bags, shoes and accessories in Italy.
* Increase focus on service, fulfillment and merchandising - while driving individual sales initiatives.
* Expand sales activities using RAINS’ segmentation model, including setting individual sales targets for accounts and prospects.
* Service existing accounts, obtain orders and establish new accounts through structured daily planning.
* Implement SIS and soft shops with key independents and department stores.
* Train and educate the customer base in the RAINS concept.
* Coordinate branding and sales activities with the marketing team in HQ.
* Collaborate with team members in Southern Europe and Denmark.
* Stay up to date with best practices within RAINS and the broader market.
Your Profile
You are a natural leader with a strong commercial mindset and a passion for execution. You are structured, analytical, and motivated by results. You communicate with clarity and confidence — and you bring ambition and drive into everything you do.
We imagine you have:
* A minimum of 5 years of experience within wholesale.
* Proven experience in sales leadership, preferably within fashion, lifestyle, or accessories.
* A strategic and analytical approach to business development.
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
* A proactive, fast-paced working style with a high sense of urgency.
* Ability to handle both operational and tactical tasks.
* Fluency in English (additional languages are a plus).
