Therapeutic Area Manager, Oncology, Triveneto\nField based\nReports to Regional Sales Manager Solid Tumours\n\nThe Opportunity\nMenarini Stemline is searching for an experienced Key Account Manager from the biotech space who thrives on high-level scientific exchange and the sense of reward achieved from bringing first-in-class treatments to patients and the impact this has on their and their families’ lives.\n\nThis is a role with an extremely high level of autonomy, visibility, and the unique chance to influence how Menarini Stemline is positioned in Italy.\n\nResponsibilities\nIdentifies and defines key local prescriber groups relevant to Menarini Stemline's in-label products (segmentation/targeting), establishes and maintains professional relationships with these (potential) prescribers.\nWork with Market Access and external stakeholders such as Hospital Pharmacists to ensure quick access to the relevant centres.\nTakes initiative and works hand in hand with Medical Affairs in implementing disease awareness campaigns within the region in accordance with the respective Stemline disease plans.\nProvides all relevant information related to Stemline products necessary to ensure their most effective and safe usage in the right patients according to clinical data, label and prescribing information.\nClosely interacts with local MSLs to plan and implement the most effective product support measures ensuring correct product handling and application by the prescribing site.\nDevelops and implements appropriate measures within the agreed strategic objectives to drive in-label usage of Menarini Stemline's approved products within the right patient group as per respective label and prescribing information (account action plans).\nRegularly monitors regional performance with respect to actual versus targeted volume and sales, takes initiative and derives necessary changes in the approach within the region down to the centre level.\nUpon request, provides support to prescribers and centres in any ordering and reimbursement aspects related to Menarini Stemline products.\nEnsures full compliance in all customer engagement efforts according to Menarini Stemline's SOPs as well as local laws and regulations.\n\nBackground & Experience\nMust be an experienced KAM, with proven experience in the biotechnology/pharmaceutical industry working in a field-based Sales (KAM) role.\nEducation in Life Sciences at the Academic level.\nPrevious experience working in the area of Solid Tumour Oncology and ideally within Breast Cancer.\nProven interest/expertise in scientific and clinical aspects paired with an entrepreneurial attitude and a tenacious ambition for commercial success.\nOutspoken and positive attitude in vantaggi/price aspects of innovative pharmaceutical products.\nMust have a basic understanding of local reimbursement mechanisms and a willingness to engage with and support centres in any centre related budget & reimbursement aspects.\nStrong intellectual and communication skills.\nHighly self-motivated, hands-on and acting independently.\nThe role will be 100% field-based with large territories, requiring a high level of travel and mobility.\nLanguages: Italian (business fluent), English (medium-high level).\n\nMenarini Stemline is an equal opportunity employer.
