The person will manage new development projects with suppliers to ensure that metal hardware meets style, quality, cost and delivery requirements. The person is also responsible for the continuous improvement of metal hardware development procedures and supports suppliers in material and process innovation. /p h3RESPONSIBILITIES /h3 ul liProvide technical support to design and product development teams: understand creative needs, analyse and interpret MH design, provide technical support, identify critical development issues and propose solutions. /li liManage the development phase to define requirements, propose existing and innovative solutions, ensure the feasibility and quality of new MH and anticipate the industrialisation timetable from the beginning. /li liManage technical development in partnership with suppliers: formalise requirements, analyse technical risks of projects and propose measures to mitigate these risks. /li liEstablish a strong and collaborative relationship with suppliers to keep up to date and meet material development targets by monitoring supplier performance. /li liNegotiate MH costs using technical specifications. /li liManage and ensure up-to-date reporting of product technical information. /li liEnsure compliance with regulatory requirements, government regulations, restrictions, safety protocols and performance standards relating to MH. /li liDevelop strong working relationships with other involved teams. /li /ul h3PERSONAL PROFILE /h3 ul liProven experience in MH development or similar role. /li liDegree in Materials Technology or Engineering or other relevant field. /li liGood knowledge of AutoCAD, Rhinoceros and MS Office (Excel, PPT). /li liStrong knowledge of MH design and manufacturing. /li liFluency in Italian and English is essential. /li liProven track record of delivering results through project management, working with cross‑functional teams. /li liPrevious high fashion or luxury brand experience is a plus. /li /ul pBurberry is an Equal Opportunities Employer and as such, treats all applications equally and recruits purely on the basis of skills and experience. /p /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
