As a leading provider of solutions for sheet metal and material processing, we combine laser cutting technology, press brakes, automation, and software with innovative laser applications for new materials and processes.

Bystronic Rofin. High-tech laser solutions for global markets.

In this role, you will join our Bystronic Rofin team. You will join us in creating outstanding technology solutions in the medical technology, semiconductor, and general manufacturing markets such as micro material processing, marking, engraving, and drilling.

What you will be doing
Drive the achievement of sales targets through value-based, solution-oriented selling
Build and manage strong customer relationships, including key accounts and new business opportunities.
Own the sales pipeline, ensuring accurate forecasting, effective CRM management, and successful contract negotiations.
Gather and analyze market intelligence, including customer needs, competitive insights, and new product opportunities.

Your education & experience
Degree in Engineering, Business, or comparable technical/commercial qualification.
5+ years of experience in selling capital equipment, photonics, or comparable technical solutions.
Proven experience in technical sales to manufacturing companies.
Strong track record in key account management and complex sales cycles.

What you need to succeed
Strong capability in value-based, proposition, and solution selling.
Solid understanding of manufacturing processes and application of capital equipment / laser system solutions.
Experience with CRM systems, forecasting tools, and reporting practices.
Ability to analyze markets, customer needs, and product performance.
Understanding of competitive products and market trends.
Travel is an integral part of this sales role, with significant time spent visiting customers and supporting business development.
Fluent in English and Italian, with Spanish knowledge considered a plus.
