Technical Sales Engineer - Factory Automation

Responsibilities
- Develop relationships with OEMs (automation machine manufacturers) in Italy and end users in the Middle East and Africa.
- Travel within Italy, Africa, and the Middle East, with an expectation of spending roughly 30% of your time away from home.
- Develop business with new customers (20%) and new projects with existing customers (80%).
- Sell to Project Engineer, Director, Procurement Manager, Operations Manager, Engineering Manager, and Engineer levels.
- Secure specifications on new and existing projects, with a typical sales cycle of 6 months to 2 years.
- Understand customer project challenges and provide guidance and input on recommended solutions.
Rewards & Benefits
- Basic salary €50 000 – €65 000
- On‑target bonus 25 % (capped at 40 % based on achieving 160 % of target)
