HW Electronic Designer
Successful candidates will be join a team of Hardware engineers using the latest technologies in automotive field. The person will be involved also in debug/validation activities during the development of new ECUs.
Main tasks required:
1. To perform laboratory bench tests to debug the electrical behavior of the ECU, verifying the compliance of the subfunctions with the design specifications;
2. To analyze electronic components datasheets, to support their selection and introduction into new ECUs
3. To execute PSPICE simulations
4. To execute worst case analysis of new electronic circuits
5. To execute electrical debug and characterization tests focused on new electronic components used on the ECU;
6. To perform ECU electrical pre-compliance tests according to defined test plan;
7. To generate technical reports and project documentation
Mandatory skills:
8. General electronics for analog and digital circuits design;
9. Synthesis of electronic circuits made up of discrete components and ASICs;
10. Electronics for driving solenoid valves, DC motors, three phase motors;
11. Typical microcontroller and logic core architectures;
12. Power supplies architectures (e.g. linear, switching);
13. Sizing of electronic components based on worst case analysis (temperature, supply voltage, parameters tolerance, etc.);
14. Estimation and analysis of electronic components power dissipation;
15. Excellent electronic laboratory equipment use (power supplies, ammeters, oscilloscopes, etc.);
16. PSPICE electrical simulations;
