Job Title: Key Account Manager (Informatore scientifico del farmaco)


Reporting to: Country sales Manager


Department: Sales and Market Access


Location: All main areas Italy & Spain. Italy: BU Cardiology, 4. BU Epilepsy: 6. ---Spain BU Specialty: 6



POSITION OBJECTIVE: The Key Account Manager (KAM) CNS will spearhead the sales, market access, and scientific initiatives in the designated geographical area. The KAM will educate and inform a range of stakeholders, including physicians, pharmacists, support teams, payers, and other pertinent industry groups, about ALIDA's product offerings. Additionally, the KAM will ensure adherence to all relevant local and international regulatory frameworks, internal policies, and guidelines.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACTIVITIES:

1. Key Account Management: • Conduct face-to-face visits with customers on a regular basis to promote and represent the company’s product portfolio. • Build and maintain strong, trust-based relationships with a range of key customers to drive product sales and meet budgetary targets. • Establish themselves as an expert in product knowledge and disease area expertise to become a key point of contact for customers. • Develop a comprehensive understanding of each customer’s specific needs and work to propose tailored solutions. • Ensure the timely delivery of products and services to meet customer expectations. • Act as a key communication bridge between internal teams and external customers, ensuring that all parties are aligned. • Resolve any customer concerns or complaints promptly to maintain trust and satisfaction.

2. KOL (Key Opinion Leader) Engagement: • Collaborate with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) and other relevant stakeholders, in conjunction with Medical and Marketing teams, to influence market positioning, guidelines, funding, and ensure the successful execution of peer-to-peer advocacy programs. • Contribute to the development of strategic initiatives such as financial impact models, market access strategies, and hospital experience programs to enhance product adoption and utilization. • Serve as the primary scientific contact with Health Care Professionals at the local level, providing deep and comprehensive knowledge of the specific disease area.



Operational Efficiency and Organizational Effectiveness: • Manage the implementation and execution of market access strategies, ensuring alignment with the company’s goals and objectives. • Take ownership of specific sales and market access projects in line with the overall strategy and vision set by the General Manager Italy. • Provide advanced knowledge on disease states and product offerings to all necessary stakeholders, ensuring the accurate dissemination of relevant information.

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES: • Continuously update and expand knowledge on key accounts and decision-makers within the market. • Take ownership of the business planning and sales strategies within the assigned territory. • Drive the implementation of effective market access initiatives and work towards sales targets. • Establish and maintain strategic relationships with relevant stakeholders to support long term business growth. • Provide market intelligence and insights to the management team, staying informed of current trends, opinions, and market developments that may impact product positioning and sales.


ROLE DIMENSIONS: Quality Compliance:

• Maintain familiarity with ALIDA’s operational practices and SOPs to ensure all activities comply with both local and international regulatory codes. Professional Development: • Dedicate time to continuous learning and professional development through formal company training programs and personal study to stay up to date with the latest industry developments and maintain scientific expertise.


PERSONAL SPECIFICATION:

• Education: Master’s degree in biology, Life Sciences, or a related scientific field.

• Experience: Previous experience in sales, key account management, and market access within the pharmaceutical industry is highly preferred.

• Language: Fluency in both Italian/Spanish and English (written and verbal) are required.

• Skills: Strong relationship-building and communication skills. o Ability to foster collaborative partnerships and drive business success. o Strategic mindset with the ability to contribute to long-term business planning and goal-setting.
