PpYou will work for Annax, a Wabtec site specialized in passenger information systems for long and short distance trains, trams and subways. /p pYou will report to the Systems Engineering Manager and work with an international team based in Italy, Switzerland and Germany. /p h3How will you make a difference? /h3 pAs a bSystem Engineer /b you will shape how our onboard Passenger Information Systems, Audio/PA and Video systems behave, communicate and integrate into modern rail vehicles. You will be the technical reference for system behavior, interfaces, network architecture and product performance. /p pThis is a role where you own the solution: you influence design choices, coach colleagues on complex topics, and ensure the product works seamlessly across the whole lifecycle. /p h3What will your typical day look like? /h3 h3You understand the system as a whole /h3 ulliYou develop system-level specifications, interfaces and architectures, ensuring that all components—hardware, embedded devices, audio/video subsystems, network equipment—work together reliably. /li /ul h3You guide others /h3 ulliYou support System Project Engineers with technical insights, helping them take the right decisions and manage complexity. /li /ul h3You shape how the product evolves /h3 ulliYou identify improvements, challenge assumptions, and contribute to the product roadmap with a hands‑on, pragmatic mindset. /li /ul h3You support integration and validation /h3 ulliYou assist during lab and on‑vehicle activities when needed, providing in‑depth troubleshooting and ensuring the final solution meets quality and customer expectations. /li /ul h3What do we want to know from you? /h3 ul liA background in electronics, embedded systems, or mechatronics /li li+6 years of experience in system engineering or networked systems, embedded devices or system integration /li liFamiliarity with audio systems, wiring diagrams, or electrical interfaces /li liCuriosity for cybersecurity and system design principles /li liProfessional knowledge of Italian and English (German is considered a plus) /li liExperience in mobility, transportation, automotive or railway is a plus /li liAutonomy, proactivity and ownership /li liExcellent communications skills /li /ul h3What do we offer? /h3 ul liSmart working: 2 days per week /li liTraining and professional growth opportunities /li liBenefits, including: flexible work hours, canteen, welfare platform, non‑work related accident insurance, tax assistance and electric car charging station /li /ul pLegal authorization to work in EU is required.
