With $6.9 billion in sales, a strong customer base and global reach spanning nearly 70 countries, we are uniquely positioned to deliver greater value to our customers and create new opportunities for our people. /p pWe are currently seeking a bSenior Product Manager /b to join our dynamic team in bPiove di Sacco (PD), Italy /b. /p pThe Thermal Sr Product Manager is responsible for managing the Product Lifecycle, supporting the business growth and gathering and prioritizing product and customer requirements, defining the go-to-market and the marketing plan. /p pThis role is critical in ensuring performance visibility and coordination across pipeline, orders, sales, and key financial metrics specific to the assigned product line. /p h3bWhat kind of work will you be doing? /b /h3 ul liGain deep insight into customer needs and desired outcomes through extensive customer, channel, and market research. /li liSupport Early Quotation Program becoming the Subject Matter Expert for the Tech Sales community until full product release /li liDefine “VOC” voice of customer and share and drive requirements with global business units /li liDefine business cases for new products developments and propose both organic and inorganic growth plans. Execute product business case on existing products in line with Thermal EMEA targets /li liDrive strategic and operational alignment across the EMEA Sales, Sales Operations, Finance, and the Global Business Unit. /li liDevelop sales and marketing strategies and plans to maximize product revenue and profitability. /li liResponsible for supporting the ongoing sustaining product management throughout its product lifecycle /li liProvides subject matter expertise and market knowledge for the assigned product line/s /li liEnable product transfers and NPDI outside the region to support the EMEA Business plan when needed, actively travelling and meeting key stakeholders both in and outside EMEA. /li liRun strategic in presence meeting with Tech Sales and Solutions Architects to drive business acting as SME and capture market insight to drive NPDI proposals /li liSupport Early Quotation for EMEA working closely with the Global Business Unit /li liBe able to sustain technical conversations about the entire Thermal Chain at Application Engineering level /li liAttend tradeshows, visit customers, meet with sales team, distributors and partners to ensure an accurate voice of customer (VOC) is shared and captured by the Global Business Units. /li liDevelop and execute product lifecycle management plans including product introduction, line extension, engineered to order, and end of production. /li liContribute to Datacenter associations working groups and attend related events to leverage Vertiv awareness and recognition /li liimprove margin performance, including pricing initiatives, VAVE efforts, and cost-out programs /li liResearch market trends, demand drivers, customer needs, and the competitive landscape. /li liBe the primary source of customer and market intelligence for the assigned product line in the EMEA region. /li liAddressing actions to reduce finished goods inventory and support business decisions in case of major supply chain issues and assist in championing resolution of offering issues (i.e. delivery, quality, inventory) /li liCollaborate with Finance, Sales, Sales Operations, and the Pricing team to execute pricing strategies and margin improvement programs Manage list pricing and multipliers in EMEA. /li liWork closely with the Thermal Technical Sales and Solution Architects teams to support technical product strategy and customer alignment. /li liEnsure all customer facing offering documentation and marketing collateral is available and accurate and specific for the region, country, and market segment. /li liPrepare and deliver presentations, product demos, competitive comparisons and other sales enablement tools and collaterals. /li liDevelop and track metrics to measure post-launch sales performance of new offerings, including pipeline, quotation /li liCollaborate with Marketing teams to develop marketing programs /li /ul h3bWhat will make you successful? /b /h3 ul liBachelor’s degree in Engineering; Master Degree in engineering preferred /li li8+ years technical, product/service, strategic planning, marketing or directly related experience. /li liStrong business acumen and act as a CEO for the products managed by him /li liAbility to quickly develop cross-functional relationships to achieve business objectives /li liTechnical expertise to translate customer needs/pain points to solutions /li liDemonstrated competence in problem solving, data analysis, project management /li liExcellent communications skills – written verbals /li liHigh focus on customer needs /li liAble to combine long term and short-term goals by setting priorities /li liAbility to interact with all levels within the organization from entry level to executive /li liAttitude to act as a leader in his/her role and with curiosity in all what’s new (market trends, new technologies, etc.) /li liLanguage skills: fluent English written and verbal required /li liProficiency with Microsoft Office suite, Smartsheet, and other business applications /li liTravel: Moderate (30%) /li /ul pIfbYOU /bare the person we are looking for, feel free to apply and let's start drafting your future career in a healthy and growing environment! /p pThe successful candidate will embrace Vertiv’s Core Principals Behaviors to help execute our Strategic Priorities. /p h3bOUR CORE PRINCIPALS /b /h3 pSafety.
