As an Expert Quantum Algorithm Researcher, you will be part of Eniquantic. Specifically, you will be involved in the development of quantum algorithms for potential use in neutral atom quantum processors designed by Eniquantic. The activities will start from the design of the algorithms, their application to industrial problems in the fields of optimization or machine learning, and subsequent benchmarking in quantum emulators, also integrated with HPC resources, to then be tested on their quantum prototypes.
Main activities
* Development and testing of quantum algorithms for applicative use‑cases on analog and digital quantum computing platforms based on neutral atoms, e.g. analysis of optimization and machine learning problems on real data and development of their quantum extension.
* Benchmarking of the developed algorithms on analog and digital quantum computing emulators in an HPC environment.
Required features
* Master’s degree in Physics, Computer Engineering, Data Science
* At least 3 years (including any PhD) of research or work experience in the development of quantum computing algorithms and/or applications
* Experience in HPC programming (preferred requirement)
* Knowledge of quantum information theory and computation
* Understanding of computational complexity of algorithms
* Knowledge of optimization techniques
* Knowledge of classical and quantum machine learning techniques
* Advanced programming skills
* Advanced knowledge of quantum computing libraries (such as Qiskit, Pennylane, Cirq, etc.)
* Excellent knowledge of English
* Availability for travel
