Experteer Overview In this Category Manager role, you shape Sephora's category strategy in Milan by driving the marketing mix and 360 launch plans. You lead cross-functional collaboration with brands and suppliers to deliver impactful assortments, pricing, promotions, and in-store animations. You translate market and consumer insights into category actions, while mentoring the team and maintaining strong stock and sell-through performance. This position combines strategic influence with hands‐on execution to differentiate the category in-store and online. You'll contribute to Sephora's mission of empowerment and inclusive beauty while enabling growth and results.
Retribuzione / Benefits Build and optimize the marketing mix (assortment, price, promotions, product animation) based on market and consumer insights
Scout, launch and manage new brands with a full 360 plan (in-store setup, price, promo, communication)
Coordinate with other departments to implement strategy via clear sales guidelines
Develop animations and local big ideas to differentiate in the market
Establish trusted relationships with brands and co‐create strategy
Pilot sell‐in, sell‐out and stock forecasting per brand with cross‐functional guidelines
Negotiate with suppliers to maximize support for store operations
Analyze data (sales, consumer, market reports) to extract insights for category strategy
Manage and empower the Category team

Proven experience as a Category Coordinator or similar role
Excellent analytical and data interpretation skills
Experience in managing new product launches and developing 360 plans
