We are seeking a results-driven and technically proficient Sales Manager to support the commercial development of our Pools business segment across the EMEIA region. As a recognized market leader of solutions for swimming pool chlorination systems, we serve a diverse customer base including manufacturers, OEMs, and distributors, offering high-quality, innovative solutions tailored to complex needs. The role focuses on preparing technically and commercially aligned offers, supporting customer-specific solutions, and diving customer acquisition and retention. It requires close collaboration with internal stakeholders and strong customer orientation.
Main responsibilities will be focused on:
Quotation Management & Technical Support
- Develop accurate and competitive offers based on customer inquiries and technical specifications
- Evaluate the feasibility of technical requirements, ensuring compliance with industry standards
- Collaborate with Sales, R&D, and Engineering to define tailored solutions
- Provide technical advice and support during pre-sales process
Customer Development & Market Expansion
- Support acquisition of new customers and develop relationships with existing accounts
- Conduct customer visits to assess needs and propose value-driven solutions
- Contribute to the strategic expansion of the Pools market through targeted commercial initiatives
- Prepare technical presentations and sales materials
Project Coordination & Internal Collaboration
- Coordinate quotation, contracts and tender processes with internal departments
- Interface with suppliers and subcontractors for technical clarifications
- Support cross-functional projects related to the Pools product offering
Market intelligence & Competitive Analysis
- Monitor market trends, customer expectations, and competitor offers and activities
- Share insights and recommendations to support product development and positioning
- Maintain accurate CRM data and prepare reports on commercial activities and customer interactions
Education and professional experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Chemical Engineering, or equivalent technical education
- Proven experience in technical sales, preferably within the pools industry or related sectors such as water treatment or industrial components.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools; familiarity with SAP and Salesforce is desirable
- Proven ability to build and maintain long-term relationships with clients, with a strong focus on understanding and addressing customer needs.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills across multidisciplinary and multicultural teams.
- Fluent in English is required. Proficiency in German or Italian; knowledge of Spanish or French is considered a plus.
