As Product Sales Manager – Energy & Air Systems, you will engage directly with mills, develop tailored proposals, and contribute to optimizing production processes. In this role, you combine technical insight with commercial drive, working closely with sales, engineering, and field services. If you enjoy customer interaction, analytical challenges, and meaningful industry impact, this position offers a compelling opportunity.

Primary location for this position is Gorizia. Lucca and Milano can be considered as additional locations.

Your responsibilities

- Pursue sales leads, visit customers, and work toward agreed sales targets across the Energy & Air Systems portfolio.
- Assess customer needs and propose suitable technologies, products, and services.
- Negotiate pricing and delivery times within defined authority limits and finalize sales orders.
- Identify and contact prospective customers, building long‑term, trust‑based relationships.
- Collaborate with Sales, Application, Product Management, Engineering, and Field Services to create technical and commercial proposals.
- Develop commercial and technical proposals (dimensioning, layouts, specifications, cost/price proposals), highlighting the impact on production process, equipment and running costs.
- Prepare process calculations and basic requirements using Valmet dimensioning tools.
- Carry out mill audits, analyze collected data and prepare reports, presentations and recommended solutions.
- Provide support to all Market Areas in defining the scope of supply and preparing quotations in compliance with Valmet technical specifications and commercial policies.

Expectations for you

- Technical Diploma in a mechanical, electrical, electronic, or software-related field; an Engineering degree in a similar discipline is preferred.
- At least five years of experience in engineering, technology, or sales roles.
- Skilled at converting customer needs into sales opportunities.
- Strong relationship‑building abilities in an international matrix environment.
- Knowledge of Tissue production processes is considered an advantage.
- Travel readiness is required.
- Fluency in both English and Italian.
