Position Summary
We are seeking an exceptional Italian Mechatronic Engineer to join our Technical Office in Livorno. This role offers a unique opportunity to work at the intersection of mechanical, electronic, and marine technology, developing innovative solutions that are revolutionizing the maritime industry.
Key Responsibilities
Design and develop integrated mechatronic systems combining mechanical, hydraulic, electronic, and software components
Lead complete project cycles from preliminary design to production implementation
Create detailed technical specifications and interface with mainly National suppliers with international presence and productions
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver cutting-edge marine technology solutions
Support production processes and ensure quality standards compliance
Manage technical documentation and CAD/CAM workflows using SolidWorks
Required Qualifications
Master's degree in Mechatronic (preferred), Mechanical, Aeronautical, Naval or Electronic Engineering 5-7 years of experience in mechatronic system design and development
Expert proficiency in CAD (SolidWorks preferred) - (3D modeling, CAM generation, PDM management, FEM/CFD simulations) Experience in FMEA/Risk Analysis and Design Review
Professional fluency in both Italian and English
Project management and technical leadership experience
Willingness to relocate to Livorno area for full-time production oversight
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in marine or offshore applications
Experience with industrial automation, sensors, pneumatics, and control systems
Experience in integrated mechatronic development with V-model approach
Experience in CAE modelization (FEM, dynamic models, etc.) Knowledge of industrial communication protocols (ProfiNET, EtherCAT, CanOpen) Knowledge of IoT solutions for remote monitoring and control
International work experience or collaboration with global teams
Familiarity with robotics and vision systems integration
Ph.D. or Master’s degree are preferred
COMPREHENSIVE COMPENSATION PACKAGE
Based on CCNL Metalmeccanici CONFAPI
Fixed Component
Base Salary (RAL): €42.000 - €50.000 based on the experience
Level 8Q CCNL Metalmeccanici CONFAPI 29% premium above minimum contractual level
Permanent contract with full CCNL protections +Variable Component: €10,000 MBO System: €7,000 annually
Production Premio: €3,000 annually
