Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Chef De Cuisine located in the Greater Parma Metropolitan Area.
The Chef De Cuisine will oversee daily kitchen operations, leading and mentoring the culinary team, developing creative menus, and ensuring the highest standards of food preparation and presentation.
Responsibilities also include managing inventory, sourcing high-quality ingredients, maintaining food safety practices, and collaborating with stakeholders to deliver an exceptional dining experience.
Qualifications
Culinary expertise, including advanced knowledge of cooking techniques, menu development, and plating artistry
Leadership and team management skills, with the ability to supervise, train, and inspire a diverse kitchen team
Experience in kitchen operations management, including inventory control, budgeting, and supplier coordination
Comprehensive understanding of food safety and sanitation standards
Strong organizational and time management skills to ensure efficiency in a fast-paced environment
Excellent communication and collaboration skills for working with staff, vendors, and stakeholders
Relevant culinary training or certification, such as a culinary arts degree or equivalent experience
Experience in Italian or Mediterranean cuisine is a strong advantage
