PpThis is Fully Remote Job (working from home contract) within EMEA. /ppbRole Summary : /b /ppThe EMA VACUUM Business Development Manager is a newly created position in which to lead the penetration of new markets, applications, and customers. It is a “Hunter” role which will play a vital role in driving Flowserve's Medium-High Rough Vacuum success, within a very broad geographical EMA region. /ppReporting into the Global Vacuum Business Development Leader, this role suits a highly energetic sales-driver who already has a very good appreciation of Industrial Vacuum solutions and associated applications. /ppThis VACUUM Business Development Manager will be responsible for strategic market entry, key-account development, line-expansion strategies, collaborating on product development and acquisition opportunities… Overall, the successful candidate will lead the regional sales development efforts in which to ensure that Flowserve is positioned as a leading Vacuum Brand. /ppWork-location is flexible, and the Business Development Manager can work from any of the EMA Flowserve facilities. /ppYour Role : /ppKey Responsibilities : /ppbStrategic Market, Analysis, Targeting, and Entry : /b /ppConduct market research in which to identify emerging trends, customer needs, and competitive opportunities within the region. /ppCollaborate with Peers to align with target markets, applications, and customers that best fit Flowserve’s strategic objectives. /ppLead a direct targeting approach in which to win customers, and develop them to mature accounts. /ppStrategy Development and Deployment : /ppDevelop and implement regional market entry and growth strategies. /ppIdentify new business opportunities, while maintaining existing key accounts, within the region and target market segments. /ppWork with cross-functional teams to drive regional Vacuum growth, and benefit from additional liquid-pump portfolio expansion where relevant. /ppCollaborate with Leadership in which to deliver market feedback and guidance surrounding Sales, Operations, Commercial, and Product-Line success. /ppAccount Management : /ppBuild and maintain strong relationships with key regional accounts. /ppLiaise with all Flowserve functions in which to achieve “Raving Fan” status for the top 20% of key accounts whom will drive 80% of our business. /ppDevelop, monitor, and manage tailored Tactical Account Plans for each key account. /ppManage account performance; adjusting actions as needed to meet objectives. /ppbProduct and Service Portfolio Collaboration : /b /ppCollaborate with Product Management and New Product Development teams to align the product portfolio with regional market needs. /ppMarket surveillance and advice centred around Acquisition and White Label Opportunities. /ppParticipate in product launch planning and execution. /ppbCollaboration with Marketing : /b /ppPartner with marketing teams and develop value propositions used for promotional campaigns tailored by region. /ppProvide market insights and customer feedback to support marketing initiatives. /ppIdentify key exhibition, conference, trade-body, and institute presence. /ppbSales Support : /b /ppProvide Flowserve Educational Services with guidance on what material is needed for the target markets, applications, and products. /ppDevelop and implement effective regional sales strategies to underpin progress with customers operating within the strategic target arenas. /ppEngage with regional customers and support critical meetings and product trials in which to strengthen Flowserve’s position within target market and applications. /ppMonitor direct Sales and Distribution performance to identify Vacuum opportunities and areas of improvement. /ppDevelop Challenger Sales Assessment, stories, and Strategies that fit the target Accounts. /ppbReporting and Analysis : /b /ppPrepare regular reports to illustrate penetration progress, market trends, bookings, key account performance, and strategic goals. /ppUse data-driven insights to refine strategies and drive continuous improvement. /ppbCareer Development : /b /ppThis role offers significant opportunities for professional career growth. The Business Development Manager will interact with key customers, collaborate with diverse teams, gain business experience from one of the World’s largest flow-control Organizations, and ultimately be introduced to a wealth of leadership opportunities within Flowserve. /ppbYour Profile : /b /ppBachelor's degree in Engineering, Physical Science, or a related field; MBA (Master of Business Administration) would be advantageous but not essential. /pp5+ years of experience in the field of Industrial Medium-High Vacuum working in any, or all, of the following industries : Thin Film Coating, Semi-Conductors, Battery Manufacture Recycling, Space-simulation, pharmaceutical API processing. /ppWillingness to travel up to 40% throughout the region and occasionally Global. /ppProven record of successful market penetration and strategy execution. /ppbKey Competencies : /b /ppStrong sales-Hunter mindset, with the ability to find opportunities, coordinate teams, and penetrate the target customer base. /ppStrong interpersonal and communication skills with a desire to deliver customer care, forge relationships, and motivate cross-functional Teams. /ppApplication knowledge of Medium-High (dry) Vacuum and Rough (Liquid Ring) pumping solutions. /ppStrong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and market trends, diagnose problems, and deliver application solutions to both internal and external stake-holders. /ppStrong resilient nature with the tenacity to succeed with customer development and growth. /ppThis comprehensive job description outlines the critical responsibilities, career development opportunities, qualifications, and key competencies required for the EMA Business Development Manager role.
