Job Description
The Sales Manager will be responsible for negotiating with existing customers and prospecting for new ones in Italy, in close collaboration with the company's management.
* Act as a Key Account Manager for assigned international clients.
* Deliver offers/quotes to existing and prospective customers.
* Report to the Sales Director Europe.
Main Activities
* Develop sales strategies for various products to customers.
* Collect necessary information for sale contract preparation.
* Communicate with technical teams to propose suitable solutions for customers.
* Search for new business opportunities, especially replacing Polyamide compounds.
* Negotiate best terms of sale in agreement with management.
* Manage and record customer rates.
* Issue material sample and test requests for the laboratory.
* Build and nurture customer relationships to develop long-term relationships.
* Control proper application of contracts and planned sales volumes with assigned customers.
* Identify, anticipate, and manage customer risks, financial risks, delivery disruptions, and changes in customer structure.
* Act as an interface between customers and management, sales, R&D, QHSE, and finance.
* Assist technical and sales teams for tests, complaints, or disputes.
* Report on individual sales activities, customer situations, and sample progress during exchanges with management and sales meetings.
Required Skills and Qualifications
* Knowledge and effective use of sales and negotiation techniques.
* Detailed knowledge of technical possibilities and product advantages.
* Good knowledge of plastics industry and plastics processing, especially injection molding with a successful account management track record.
* Analytical mindset with ability to adjust to changing market conditions.
