Role Overview:
The P&R Activities Specialist is a person with a sound scientific background who stands out for ethics and respect for Corporate values. He/She will be responsible for promoting and preserving the Company's portfolio value proposition throughout the product lifecycle, ensuring that product access conditions align with global guidelines and enable the treatment of eligible patients. This role is fundamental to a company's market access success, requiring a combination of technical skills and interpersonal effectiveness.
Main Activities & Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
* P&R and Market Access related activities:
o Management of the P&R activities aimed to obtain/maintain the NHS reimbursement in Italy for the products belonging to Menarini Group portfolio in the General Medicine & Specialty Care area.
o Prepare and present national Pricing & Reimbursement (P&R) dossiers, coordinating input from Medical Affairs, Regulatory and Marketing teams.
o Manage the pricing and reimbursement process, coordinating internal contributors and ensuring full alignment with the global strategy (value proposition and pricing guidelines).
o Actively support the development of negotiation strategies and innovative Managed Access Agreements (MEAs).
o Interact with external vendors (consultants) for P&R related projects.
* Other Strategic activities related to the Italian portfolio:
o Monitor and analyze changes in the external scenario and competitor dynamics, including pricing and reimbursement conditions and timings, to assess any P&R and market access impact from the external environment.
o Develop and manage projects that contribute to maximizing product value, in compliance with local regulations and internal processes.
o Analysis of the price and reimbursement scenario concerning new business opportunities under evaluation.
o Collaborate with national and international cross-functional teams.
* Governance activities:
o Coordination of activities related to pharmaceutical governance (evolution of the National Pharmaceutical Formulary, payback/clawback procedures, analysis of the evolution of regulations and procedures and their impact on pricing and reimbursement and market access scenario).
Job Requirements
Qualifications:
* Education:
o University Degree in Life Sciences or Economics.
o A postgraduate degree / master in Market Access, Health Policy or Health Economics is highly valued.
* Experience:
o At least 3 years of experience in P&R / Market Access departments, with cross-functional work in matrix organizations.
o A scientific background with P&R / Market Access experience in the pharmaceutical industry is generally preferred.
General Skills:
* Language Proficiency:
o Fluency in Italian and English (spoken and written) is mandatory.
* Analytical Skills:
o Excellent analytical skills, including the ability to analyze complex data, draw conclusions, and summarize recommendations.
* Project Management:
o Strong project management skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks, projects, and priorities.
* Communication and Interpersonal:
o Persuasive communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal, are important. This includes the ability to communicate effectively with internal and external teams.
o Strong interpersonal skills, teamwork, and collaboration are also highly valued.
Technical Skills:
* Excellent skills in using Microsoft Office, particularly strong ability to work with Excel spreadsheets and create PowerPoint presentations.
* Use of IT tools such as databases and management systems.
