This is a highly application-focused position suited to candidates with strong understanding of refrigeration systems, customer applications, and technical support within the cold chain industry. The successful candidate will act as a key technical interface between customers, OEM RD teams, and internal engineering functions, supporting projects from specification and system design through commissioning and lifecycle support. /ph3Key Responsibilities /h3ulliSupport the internal NPD process and act as the central technical contact between OEM RD teams and internal engineering teams /liliCreate, structure, and maintain high-quality technical documentation supporting field applications /liliProvide technical support during specification and refrigeration system design activities /liliAssist customers in selecting appropriate refrigeration and HVAC equipment based on technical and operational requirements /liliConduct product demonstrations and provide technical sales support throughout the sales process /liliDeliver ongoing technical support throughout the product lifecycle /liliSupport implementation, commissioning, and troubleshooting of refrigeration systems /liliBuild strong relationships with high-profile customers through regular engagement and customer visits /liliStay updated on industry trends, regulations, and emerging refrigeration technologies /liliCollaborate internally with other Technical Sales Engineers to share technical knowledge and field experience /liliFor senior-level profiles, participate in account planning sessions and identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities /li /ulh3Required Skills and Qualifications /h3ulliExperience within refrigeration, cold chain, or commercial cooling applications /liliStrong understanding of how refrigeration products are applied within customer systems and end‑user environments /liliExperience supporting OEMs, contractors, end users, or competitors within the refrigeration market /liliStrong customer‑facing communication and technical problem‑solving skills /liliAbility to provide both remote technical support and onsite customer engagement /liliFluent Italian language skills are essential /li /ulh3Preferred Skills and Qualifications /h3ulliPrevious experience as an Application Engineer or Technical Sales Engineer /liliExperience supporting strategic or high‑profile customer accounts /liliAbility to work autonomously /liliExisting network within the Italian refrigeration or cold chain market /liliRemote candidates should ideally have at least 3 years of relevant industry experience /liliCandidates located near Saronno or Belluno would be advantageous, although remote working can be considered for the right profile /li /ulh3Location /h3pItaly – Preferred location near Saronno or Belluno; remote working possible for the right profile. /ph3Equal Opportunity Employer /h3pCopeland is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action employer.
