MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES ?Work to the best of his/her abilities to ensure high quality, creativity, freshness and pastry preparation according to set standards at all times. ? Assist in the preparation, production, duties and responsibilities of the Pastry Section as assigned by the Pastry Sous Chef/Executive Chef. ? Supervise and allocate work to pastry ambassadors, according to their knowledge and skill level. ? Assist in developing pastry recipes and presentation photos for new menus and standards, ensuring they are always accurately updated. ? Record and report any incidents, problems or complaints. ? Ensure that the hotel's cost control policies and procedures are followed. ? Contribute to overall profits by preventing waste and maximizing the use of pastry raw materials. ? Assist in maintaining and enhancing ambassadors' grooming and personal hygiene according to hotel policies. ? Ensure that hotel property, facilities, the pastry kitchen and all related areas are kept in excellent condition. ? Attend training sessions and meetings as required. ? Identify training needs of pastry subordinates. ? Ensure food quality and safety standards in the pastry section at all times through active checks during each shift.
