Working with field sales people and manufacturer’s representatives is also essential in all facets of the sales effort toward negotiating eventual purchase order from the customer.brstrongAbout The Positionbr/strongThis position will require the understanding of heat transfer calculations, mechanical design aspects of equipment and work up cost estimates within our system. The Sales Engineer position has a broad range of responsibilities to include the following:brulliCompletes thermal analysis of customer requirements and thermal design using heat transfer principles and calculations. /liliAssist other sales engineers with the design and proposal of our system. /liliPrepare proposals on the project’s technical specifications and requirements. /liliSupervise and organize bid preparation and ensure accuracy of costing estimating. /liliParticipate in presentations at customer locations and negotiations. /liliContinuous communication with our customer is essential to provide our engineered to order heat transfer products. /liliParticipating in training sessions, meetings, skill building and professional development classes. /liliAttend industry conferences to develop industry expertise. /liliWorks with management to create and implement sales strategies and policies. /liliAssists manager with other tasks as needed. /liliFollows all safety policies and company-wide safety requirements; encourages action assuring safe behavior; confronts unsafe behavior and conditions proactively and positively. /liliComplies with all company policies and procedures. /liliConducts himself/herself in a considerate, professional, cooperative and helpful manner toward fellow employees, customers, vendors and visitors.br/li /ulstrongWhat You Knowbr/strongBachelor's Degree in Engineering with Mechanical or chemical preferred. Professional experience in Heat Transfer is preferred, but not required. Additional competencies to include the following:brulliRequires medium level technical and financial knowledge to effectively estimate and sell with some degree of independence. /liliMust have exceptional verbal and written communication skills along with organization and presentation skills. /liliMust effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients and customers. /liliWorking knowledge of computer software, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint. /liliSome working knowledge of Autocad and/or Solidworks is ideal. /liliDemonstrated ability to work both independently (self-directed) and with others as part of a team. /liliAble to confidently interact with a variety of internal and external customers. /liliAbility to multi-task and prioritize assignments. /liliMust have valid drivers license. /liliRequired to travel both International/Domestic at approximately 25-35%.br/li /ulstrongWhat's In It For Youbr/strongWe offer a challenging position in an open and friendly environment where we help each other to develop and create value.
