We are looking for a passionate and strategic product manager who will join the marketing team in our Milan office. Scope of the role: Working within the product management Business Unit at Moleskine means being a total business owner and not just a marketer. You will help in building the vision and strategy behind key categories such as writing tools, lifestyle accessories and eyewear, primarily developed in partnership with external partners and/or suppliers, while developing marketing plans and driving innovation. You will work with a large cross-functional team to identify gaps and opportunities and put in place marketing plans that will contribute to the grow and profitability of your categories.Tasks and Responsibilities: Strategic Development: Contribute to the category strategy by identifying growth opportunities, and proposing new product ideas in line with brand values and consumer insights.Product Ownership: Manage the full lifecycle of innovation products, from ideation through development to launch, as well as overseeing the management of carryover products to ensure continued market relevance and profitability.Project Management: Oversee project timelines and coordinate activities across sales, marketing, design, and production to ensure successful product launches.Partner Collaboration: Manage relationships with external partners and licensors, ensuring alignment with Moleskine’s brand identity and commercial goalsAssortment Planning: Develop balanced product assortments, determining pricing tiers that meet market demands.Market Analysis: Conduct thorough market research to identify trends, competition, and user needs, informing product strategy and development. Identify new opportunities within global or local relevance.Performance Monitoring: Lead monthly category analyses, tracking performance against KPIs and recommending necessary adjustments.Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams and maintain relationships with creative agencies and stakeholders. Support the Business Unit with marketing presentations and catalogue update.Requirements:At least 3+ years of experience in product marketing, ideally in lifestyle, eyewear, or writing tools.Strong enthusiasm/passion for the brand, product, and design thinking.Proven ability to manage external partners or licensors.Strong trend awareness and curiosity across different product categories.Very strong excel and presentation skills. High attention to details.Results oriented, organized, and self-motivating.Ability to act independently respecting company policies, guidelines, and strategies.Great interpersonal skills.
