Sales Manager Role Description
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and expand the Italian market for PV mounting systems, with a focus on both rooftop and ground-mounted applications.
* Build, manage, and continuously develop long-term partnerships with EPC companies, installers, and distribution partners in Italy.
* Act as the main commercial interface for projects, coordinating technical clarification, quotation, contract negotiation, delivery, and payment processes throughout the entire project life cycle.
* Work closely with internal engineering and technical teams to ensure project-specific mounting solutions meet structural, regulatory, and installation requirements.
* Support customers in the early project phase by providing solution-oriented input, system selection, and value engineering.
* Identify market requirements and customer feedback and translate them into product and system improvement inputs.
* Represent the company at Italian and European PV trade fairs, industry events, and customer workshops.
* Organize and support technical training, factory visits, and installer seminars.
Key Requirements
* 2+ years of professional experience in the PV industry, preferably with exposure to PV mounting systems, EPC projects, or system solutions.
* Solid understanding or fast learning capability of rooftop and ground-mounted PV systems, including basic structural concepts, installation principles, and applicable standards (e.g., Eurocodes).
* Experience working with EPCs, installers, or distributors in the Italian market; an existing customer network is an advantage.
* Business-fluent English; Italian language skills are necessary.
* Structured, solution-oriented working style with strong communication and coordination skills.
* Ability to manage projects independently from initial contact to commercial closure.
* Willingness to travel within Italy and Europe as required.
