PThe opportunity exists for an experienced strongBusiness Development Manager /strong to join AFRY’s Energy Division within the expanding Thermal and Renewable Energy team in ITALY, CIS and EMEA. /ppAFRY’s Thermal and Renewable Energy Team provide clients with help and support at all project stages, including technical and economic feasibility studies, technology assessments, technical due diligence reviews, Lenders’ Engineer services, front end engineering design (FEED) studies, owner’s engineer services, engineering-procurement-construction-management (EPCM) services, operation and maintenance support and optimisation and expert witness services. /ppAs Business Development Manager you will play a key role in growing the Thermal and Renewable Energy business in ITALY, CIS and EMEA. You will also support business development activities across wider EMEA Region, working with colleagues in other AFRY offices (e.g. Finland, Switzerland, Italy, Dubai etc). /ph3Qualifications /h3pstrongYOUR TASKS: /strong /pulliStrengthening relationships with existing clients and forging new partnerships. /liliIdentifying and pursuing new business opportunities. /liliWorking knowledge of contracts, framework agreements and tendering qualification processes. /liliLeading multiple tender processes, including bid scheduling, compliance, and document production. /liliLiaise with key personnel to ensure timely delivery of information for internal and external deadlines. /liliParticipate in an environment of learning and improvement among bidding and business development colleagues. /liliStay up-to-date with industry trends, competitor analysis, and client needs to drive strategic decision-making. /liliSupport the management of our client data using a Client Relationship Management system (Microsoft Dynamics). /li /ulpstrongYOUR PROFILE: /strong /pulliHold a degree in process, mechanical, chemical or electrical engineering. /liliHave experience in business development, particularly within engineering/consulting services. /liliHave experience in working with Banks/Lenders and strong network for technical advisor services with Italian Banks and foreign stakeholders. /liliCan demonstrate a strong track record of winning and managing profitable work. /liliYou are a good communicator and can reduce complex issues to understandable arguments and presentations for top management from different cultural backgrounds and employees.
