For us diversity is a real value, and we encourage in connecting different perspectives with respect. /p pDiscover more about our culture and approach here: /p h3bJob Description Summary: /b /h3 pAs a member of the Asset Management Team, reporting to the Area Manager for the allocated area, you will oversee the safe and optimal performance of renewable energy assets. /p pThe role involves managing contractors to execute planned and corrective maintenance within specified time, quality, and cost parameters across your designated region. /p pAs Site Manager, you will be responsible for the operation and maintenance of power plants, ensuring that internal procedures are followed and that suppliers are in line with the best practices within the sector, promoting health and safety at work. /p pThe plants are located in Sicily. /p h3bJob Description: /b /h3 h3bKey Responsibilities /b /h3 h3bHSQE /b /h3 ul liEnsure the safety of all personnel on site, adhering to regulations and legislation. /li liUphold effective HSQE standards across the wind farm portfolio under your management. /li liConduct regular audits and inspections of contractors for QHSE compliance. /li liDocument safety incidents promptly, investigate as needed, provide recommendations and ensure the implementation of the agreed improvements. /li liLead emergency planning with regular exercises to verify its effectiveness. /li /ul h3bTechnical /b /h3 ul liOversee and coordinate site OM service activities, ensuring the reconciliation of OM reported metrics and the respect of QHSE standards. /li liOperate the plant(s) with a focus on availability maximizing the generation. /li liDaily monitoring of the asset KPIs and provide daily notice and structured info about the asset operational status, maintenance plans and downtime events to all the relevant internal stakeholders. /li liTroubleshoot and/or support the investigation/RCAs of complex technical issues; activate all the required internal stakeholders to ensure proper specialized engagement to reduce turbine downtimes and proper reaction. Participate with fault finding and rectification were possible. /li liPerform frequent site quality inspection on all the installed machines and relevant equipment; generate reports and punch lists also for QHSE and service quality tracking purpose; ensure the follow up and implementation of remedial works. When required and with the support of the specialists available in the other COO areas: operate the systems and the relevant equipment installed on site (especially HV/LV equipment) and perform minor corrective maintenance activities to improve asset performance. /li liObtain authorisation under HV safety rules and coordinate component exchanges. /li liPlan and implement preventive maintenance on site leveraging on the inputs provided by Asset Maintenance department, manage the statutory checks and the corrective maintenance (especially the major correctives if outside the scope of the general contractors), minimizing the asset or generation unit downtimes. /li liIn collaboration with Asset Excellence, plan and implement all the performance improvement actions with active support for the delivery of the projects. /li liIdentify and mitigate risks that could impact performance targets. /li liInvestigate major outages to prevent re-occurrence and ensure lessons learned. /li liCollaborate actively in value-added projects to monitor asset efficiency, ensuring the correct installation and operation of equipment. /li /ul h3bCommercial /b /h3 ul liDeliver works on site within defined budgets while maximizing profitability. /li liGenerate PRs/POs for goods and services ensuring business continuity, in line with company procedures, with the support of the Procurement department and through the corporate systems and platforms. /li liManage PV/Wind farms in line with budgetary expectations, identifying and communicating variances. /li liProvide inputs to annual budgets for operating and capital expenditures. /li liFocus on performance improvements to enhance wind farm profitability without compromising safety or quality. /li /ul h3bContractor Management /b /h3 ul liMaintain high standards in contractor performance and stakeholder engagement. /li liImplement work plans for all sites, emphasizing the efficient generation of each wind turbine. /li liFoster good relationships with key stakeholders through regular communication. /li liConduct frequent contractor audits on site to ensure governance against contract deliverables. /li liOversee project management to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery with minimal impact on site performance. /li /ul h3bReporting /b /h3 ul liProduce monthly operational reports detailing Asset Management activities and site performance. /li liCollaborate with Operational Analysts to address turbine performance issues. /li liProvide inputs for written business cases to support initiatives and for special reports describing technical issues to be used for “sharing knowledge” purposes and improvement of the internal technical specification. /li /ul h3bOn-Call Responsibilities /b /h3 ul liParticipate in a rotational on-call rota system within the area. /li liBe available for site attendance outside of regular working hours. /li liBe available for site remote support when required to implement DSO/TSO and market agent or energy off taker instructions (for instance, to change power settings due to negative prices). /li /ul h3bTechnical and cross Competences /b /h3 h3bPreferred: /b /h3 ul liExperience managing PV Plants 2-5 years’ /li liKnowledge of information documentation, monitoring, and reporting industry best practices. /li liExperience of Wind plants is beneficial. /li /ul h3bSkills Knowledge: /b /h3 ul liClear and concise written and verbal communication at all levels. /li liPV analysis of faults and participation with corrective action planning. /li liStrong scheduling and planning skills for timely task completion. /li liPrevious experience with OM service companies and HV/LV equipment knowledge. /li liProficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint. /li /ul h3bManagerial skills and behaviours /b /h3 ul liStrong experience in managing contractors and HSQE topics. /li liProblem solving. /li liHigh level of work autonomy. /li liAbility to manage communities and Landlords. /li /ul h3bEducation and Qualifications /b /h3 ul liEducational background in a field of Mechanical, Electrical or Civil construction. /li liMin 2-5 years’ experience working within the Renewables Industry. /li liProject Management skills and experience. /li /ul h3bTravel Requirements /b /h3 ul liTravel regularly (daily/weekly) within allocated area with potential European travel for training. /li /ul h3bLocation: /b /h3 pCatania /p h3bTime Type: /b /h3 pFull time /p h3bWorker Subtype: /b /h3 pRegular /p /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
