The prime responsibility of this role is to develop business strategies that drive profitable growth while increasing penetration in Sales and Demand Creation performance. To achieve this, the Global Account Manager will need to effectively communicate with customers to negotiate the company's offering and position its value add.
This involves developing global strategies and implementing site tactics in conjunction with branch personnel to drive top line revenue and increase gross profit margin. The Global Account Manager will also work closely with customer Senior Management to understand their needs and challenges and formulate strategies to position the company for growth.
To succeed in this role, commercially astute individuals with a proven sales track record are required. They should have excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills, as well as the ability to work under pressure and maintain attention to detail. A deep understanding of technical teams and the ability to engage them in associative sell opportunities is also essential.
